So, since my birthday just happens to be later this month, I thought I'd have a little fun...I'm starting by putting my whole store at Scraps-N-Pieces on sale for 34% off all month long...

April Happenings at Scraps-N-Pieces

I think we are finally seeing signs of spring in most of the U.S., although I hear some of our Canadian friends are still getting lots of snow.  I don't know about you, but I've been over winter for a very long time.  Hopefully all the fun things we have for you in April won't keep you inside too much that you can't get out enjoy some fresh air.  Just grab your laptop and find a good park bench or deck chair (and hopefully some good wifi), and enjoy both at the same time.

March Happenings at Scraps N Pieces

Even though the calendar says March, it still feels like winter in so many places right now.  When will we ever start to feel some warm spring air?  Around Scraps N Pieces, we have been keeping ourselves warm by designing some amazing products for you, our awesome members and customers.

Our members mean so very much to us.  The 3-year old son of one our members was just recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer last week. This is something they would have never thought would happen to their family.  It is Stage 4, as this type of cancer is often not symptomatic until that time. He will have to go through some aggressive chemo, then surgery to remove his tumor, then more chemo. There is a 40-50% survival rate, but his doctors are very optimistic. This family has 3 other small children and a new baby on the way. Together, the Scraps N Pieces designers developed an amazing kit called Little Warrior, to help raise funds that will cover some of their costs at this time. This kit is a beautiful children’s hospital themed collab that chronicles the journey that this little warrior is facing. All proceeds from the sale of this kit will go to this little family to help with expenses.

SNP Anniversary + DSD Weekend Events!

It's our second anniversary at SNP and it's DSD weekend! Can I get a WHOOT?!! We have planned a super fun weekend for you! Our customers and designers are some of the best people in digi and we are so very honored to have each of you actively involved in our community! You have no idea how you've touched our lives and how much we enjoy chatting with you and looking at your layouts. There is something wonderful about SNP. It's the friendships we create. It's the way our stories intertwine with those of the people we've never met in real life. It's people from all over the world uniting in this wonderful way that helps us to capture those small moments in time that make up the stories of our lives. Nowhere else can you find such an awesome group of people who work and create so closely to build such an amazing community for all of us to feel at home in. This weekend we are celebrating each and every one of you be{You}tiful people. Our challenges and chats are centered around getting to know you better. We hope you'll join us this weekend as we strengthen our friendships and our community. I'm sure there will be a lot of laughter and of course we've created a Be{You}tiful collection of goodies for you that you won't want to miss. There is a fabulous facebook hop where you can collect 25 be{You}tiful templates and we wouldn't dare celebrate our anniversary or DSD without an awesome store wide sale! *AHS FREEBIE* "The Mick" Mini Now on FB

So, I tried my hand at adding a fan freebie on FB and I think I have it figured out, so head on over to the AHS FB page to snag it for your stash.  Here's the preview for "The Mick" (but, you have to get it on FB, so the image is not linked for you to download here) :

A while back I asked for some feedback on FB about what kind of freebie to offer and after a little delay on my part, finally got a little Disney-inspired mini kit whipped up since it was the most requested choice at the time.  There aren't any "obvious" Disney elements, as you will notice, because I don't want to take any chances to invite Disney's legal team to contact me about infringements, but the colors are very Mickey-ish and should work perfectly for sprucing up some Disney or non-Disney layouts alike.  

Keep your eyes open for this mini to have a coordinating full kit in my stores and for more Disney-inspired items as FB freebies...like maybe "The Girlfriend" or "The Goof"... ;)  I will be alternating freebie products between minis, templates and clusters/WA packs, so check back every now and then (give or take two weeks for each freebie) to see if there's something new!

Speedy AHS Products on SALE

Do you ever have one of those weeks? You know...the kind where you think you are going to get a lot done?  Or *should* be getting a lot done?  But, you don't.  Too many irons in the fire, schedule changes you have no control over, being under the weather...there are a million reasons why these kind of weeks happen, and I have just felt behind all week.  I have been getting ready for a local craft fair and it is simply taking waaay more time than I thought it would...mainly because I waited until the very last minute.  What can I say?  I'm a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants-works-well-under-pressure-procrastinator.  ;)  So, since I have neglected my digi-scrap tasks this week because of the glue and glitter on my fingers, my clothes and in my hair, I thought I'd at least give you guys a chance to get some really quick projects done in case you had a week like mine.  Maybe my little sale will cheer you up and you can get something accomplished from start to finish that will make you feel good this weekend!  Enjoy the products from my SNP store that will help you get things done in a jiffy...templates, quick pages and a card pack.  All for $1 each.  Enjoy!  (Images below are linked to the store.)
